Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By purchasing items from the this website you are accepting in full all that is set out here in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree or do not wish to accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using this Website.

Website changes

We may make changes to this Website and Terms and Conditions form time to time by removing or adding any part without prior warning. It will be deemed as your acceptance of any such changes by your continued use of the website.

Website registration

When you place your order for the first time on our Website you will be asked to create a user name and password. You are also required to enter some personal/company information to enable you to create an account. You must never allow anyone to gain access to your user name or password. You must notify us immediately if at any time you feel a third party obtains these details by calling us on 07946819982 or e-mailing us at support@lunchthyme.co.uk.

You will be able to change your user name and password at anytime by logging into the site via the ‘My Thyme’ link and editing the details on your user account page.

Placing an Order

To place an order simply choose which of services you would like to order from. Either Business Catering or Office Lunch Delivery Service. Click on which items you would like to order and they will be added to your cart. You can view your cart at any time and add or remove any items where necessary. Then click ‘checkout’. Here you will be asked to fill in your delivery address and billing address and to select a payment type, before proceeding to confirm your order and, if selected, making payment online via RBS WorldPay (see below).

Out of stock items

Occasionally we may be out of stock of an item which is out of our reasonable control. In such an event, for example where you have placed an order choosing a 'Country White Bap' under our Office Lunch Delivery Service, we will replace it with the nearest alternative.

Account conditions- BUSINESS CATERING

  • Note we are obliged to charge VAT.
  • All prices displayed are the unit price excluding VAT.
  • VAT will be added at checkout at the prevailing rate.
  • We have a £20.00 minimum order.
  • We deliver free of charge.
  • Our cut off time for orders is 11.00am the day before your specified delivery date. However we may be able to provide orders at short notice. To enquire please call 07946819982.
  • We can only accept cancellations up to 11.15am the day before your specified delivery date, otherwise we reserve the right to charge the full amount of your order placed.
  • We require a window of 30 minutes for deliveries.
  • We are able to deliver throughout Edinburgh. However, there could be times when your chosen time slot if full. If this is the case, then Thyme will contact you within 4 hours of the order being placed to arrange an alternative delivery time or offer a refund if no alternative time can be arranged.
  • Please help us do our bit for the environment and retain and return your platter trays. We will collect them the day following delivery.

Online, using RBS WorldPay:

You can pay on-line through RBS Worldpay. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

By cheque:

Please make cheques payable to Sandwich Stack. Please write your company name and address on the back of cheques. Cheques are only acceptable in GBP. Payments to be made strictly 14 days from receipt of invoice.

Cash on delivery:

We Accept cash on delivery. Please have correct change available and ready at time of delivery.
Cash payments are only acceptable in GBP

Payment terms:

  • Cheques: Strictly 14 days from receipt of invoice
  • Accounts may be suspended without notice if Payment Terms are not met

Refund policy - BUSINESS CATERING

We can only accept cancellations before 11.15am the day before your specified delivery date. To cancel call 07946819982 no later than 11.15am and if you’ve paid using our online debit service, we’ll refund all your money straight back onto your card within 7 days.

We apologise but can not accept cancelations for this service as we prepare your order fresh on the day of your delivery.

All food supplied by Thyme is strictly for customer use and can not be resold at increased prices or sold onto third parties.

Guidelines for the Consumption of Food Sold

Customers are duty bound to comply with any instructions and recommendations laid out by Thyme regarding use by dates on products and storage recommendations.
